Just because an individual's income is below a certain level does not make them poor if they have a legitimate opportunity to make their contribution to the economic system and share in that system's goods and services but choose not to exercise that opportunity

in order to eliminate poverty a definition of poverty is required. poverty is the denial of the legitimate opportunity to contribute whatever you have to contribute to the economic system and, therefore, the denial of an equitable share of that system's goods and services.

by using money to fund enterprise plans developed by anyone (regardless of income level), paying people who are upgrading their skill set, and making all publicly funded jobs available in a job auction we could eliminate poverty and maximize our economic growth

distributing the benefits of money equally - our current credit based economy distributes money based on credit worthiness which is an obvious overwhelming advantage for the wealthy. But there are other ways to distribute money that would not favor any particular economic group.
