the fractional reserve banking system that finds it's origin in the operations of the Roman Catholic Church during the crusades has a lesson to teach us. That lesson is that money can successfully be created out of nothing and used for sustainable economic growth. What we need to do is redefine our monetary policy such that money is used to benefit everyone in society not just the wealthy.
